DriveAtlas Technician Privacy Notice

This notice covers DriveAtlas Technician beta software and related support data. It does not describe general website visitor analytics, cookies, or contact-form handling — see the MCAM Studios Website Privacy Policy for that.

Local operation

• DriveAtlas runs locally on the technician’s Windows PC.
• Scans file system metadata and file contents as needed for classification and hashing during verified relocation.
• Preferences, operation journals, move history, and transaction files are stored under `%LocalAppData%\DriveAtlasV2\`.
• No automatic upload of scan results to the publisher.

Support and recovery data

If you send support bundles or recovery reports, they may contain full file paths and usernames. Redact sensitive content before sharing when required by your organization or customer policy.

Purchase and beta inquiry data

Named-technician purchases send email, technician name, and related checkout fields to the DriveAtlas commerce service so PayPal can confirm payment and issue the accepted beta package. The Founding Beta questions form is used only for support inquiries. See the Website Privacy Policy for how form submissions on this site are handled generally.
