MCAM WorkAtlas Privacy Notice
How MCAM WorkAtlas Commercial Preview handles local product and support data.
This notice covers MCAM WorkAtlas Commercial Preview on Windows. It does not describe general website visitor analytics, cookies, or contact-form handling — see the MCAM Studios Website Privacy Policy for that. DriveAtlas Technician has a separate notice.
Local operation
- WorkAtlas runs locally on the technician’s Windows PC.
- Work items, scan ledgers, audit logs, and license files stay under the Windows user profile (
%AppData%\MCAM\WorkAtlasand%LocalAppData%\MCAM\WorkAtlas). - If you point the app at an existing Cellphone Watchdog SQLite database, that file stays on this PC.
- We do not upload your mailbox, PST/OST files, or message bodies to MCAM servers.
- We do not send mail without an on-screen confirm step.
- This preview does not use a cloud LLM on mailbox contents.
Classic Outlook
PST scan and Open in Outlook use Classic Outlook COM on the same machine. That is why the Store package declares the restricted desktop capability runFullTrust. Outlook remains the owner of mailbox data. New Outlook is not a supported scan target in this preview.
Optional Graph tokens
If you connect Microsoft Graph for confirm-gated send, tokens are stored locally on this PC. They are not uploaded to MCAM.
Support bundles
If you send a diagnostics zip, it may contain file paths, usernames, and redacted audit lines. Redact further before sharing when your organization requires it.
